Diana HowlesDiana Howles Moderator

Diana Howles has twenty years of experience in education and training. She has worked with government staff, manufacturing companies, insurance corporations, academia, and financial service organizations. She specializes in live online learning, instructional design and development of e-learning courses, presentational coaching, structured writing, voiceover work, and on-camera talent.

Diana has a Masters degree in speech communication and a Bachelors degree in business and communication.  She is a past president of the ASTD South Central WI Chapter, and also was active in programming and marketing roles for the chapter. She is currently a senior learning specialist for Howles Associates, LLC--an e-learning, multimedia, and training development company.

 

Deb DenureDeb Denure Panelist

Ms. DeNure has designed and delivered customized training throughout the USA, acted at an independent consultant and motivational speaker. Her facilitation experience include key note sessions, focus groups; team building activities, supervisory and leadership development, strategic issues projects, learning design strategies, ethics and compliance standards, customer service excellence and communication methodologies to retain and motivate top employees.

Ms. DeNure is the founder of DB Associates, Training and Project Management Services, specializing in personnel development for business, manufacturing and health care. Ms. DeNure has a Bachelors of Science in Education, Health and Human Services, is a member of American Society of Training Development (ASTD), Society of Consumer Affairs for Professionals (SOCAP), Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM) and Madison Area Business Consultants (MABC).

She brings over twenty years of experience in personal and professional development; is an adjunct instructor for Fox Valley Technical College and training partner for MATC; and is a certified  facilitator for a number of programs including  Ken Blanchard, Vital Learning, Herrmann International, Achieve Global, Development Dimensions International, Vision Point Productions and the Coffman Organization.

 

Ken PhillipsKen Phillips Panelist

Ken Phillips is founder and CEO of Phillips Associates, a performance management and sales performance training, consulting and publishing company. He has more than 20 years experience designing learning instruments and assessments and has authored more than a dozen published instruments. He also regularly speaks to ASTD groups and university classes. Ken earned the CPLP credential in 2006 and on five occasions has served as team leader of the Measuring and Evaluating CPLP work product rater committee. In addition, Ken has written articles that have appeared in T+D magazine, Training Today and HR.com.

 

Susannah Rockman-LeeSusannah Rockman-Lee Panelist

Susannah Rockman-Lee has 11 years experience designing, developing, and delivering learning solutions. In her current role as Learning Technology Consultant for Humana, Inc. Susannah's focus is all things technology: eLearning, online synchronous/asynchronous learning, implementing a learning technology strategy, and researching new technologies to bring to her organization. She has an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of Florida (Go Gators!) and a Master's in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University. Susannah currently serves as President Elect for the South Central Wisconsin chapter of ASTD.

  

Jeff RussellJeff Russell Panelist

Jeffrey Russell, co-director of Russell Consulting, Inc., specializes in helping companies successfully respond to the challenges of continuous change.  With a focus on leadership development, strategic planning, change management, and performance coaching, Jeff has helped organizations as diverse as Fortune 500 firms, social and public sector organizations, and small family businesses achieve their goals. Jeff received his Masters Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he serves as an adjunct faculty member, teaching for the department of continuing education and professional studies and the Small Business Development Center. Jeff is also an adjunct faculty member for the UW campuses of Milwaukee, Green Bay, and UW-Colleges.

 

Jeff is a frequent presenter at local, national, and international conferences. Recent presentations include the International Conferences of ASTD, the Jamaica Employers Federation Conventions, and the Wisconsin State SHRM Conferences.

 

Jeff and his wife and business partner Linda have co-authored eight books. Recent titles include: Leading Change Training, Strategic Planning Training, Change Basics, and Strategic Planning 101. Their latest book, Ultimate Performance Management, has just been published by ASTD Press. When not focused on his work, Jeff enjoys travelling the world with Linda, outdoor photography, hiking, and canoeing in the Canadian wilderness.
